Check out what we’re doing now!

So, I realize it’s been quite some time since my last post, and I’ll be the first to admit I wasn’t very good at this blog thing. But, I’m doing really well now (just not on this blog)…
Adam and I have made some pretty significant changes, and while this is still our blog, we have a new blog that will be our main blog for the next little while. Please still consider this “Adam and Richelle” but for photos and updates on what we’re up to on our recently embarked on adventure, please visit:

Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to send us a note, and let us know what you’ve been up to. We’d love to hear from you!

New blog to show our homes…

I just set up a new blog to showcase the homes we’re selling. Lot’s of photos and all kinds of stuff.

Home Looking for a Family :)

Yes, we’re selling our home. I think we’ll be gypsies for a little while, until we find the perfect place to settle down. We really want chickens, and I really want a Llama…. yes, a Llama! So, anyways, here are the details of this home. We hope it finds someone who will love it like we have! It’s in a wonderful neighborhood. It’s a little hard to find because it’s located in a culdesac at the end of the street (which makes for a bad selling location, but a GREAT living location - there is basically no traffic!)

From the outside it looks a lot smaller than it actually is. The home is extremely large and spacious (over 4800 sq. ft.) It has a vaulted entry with a beautiful staircase (and no straight shot views into the bedrooms or kitchen). The floor plan is super unique and has tons of open space with an amazing amount of storage (there are closets everywhere)! Probably our favorite thing about this home is the pantry - it’s HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!! (I can’t put enough exclamations!)

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms (all with walk-in closets) plus the master bedroom (which is also ginormous, and has a huge walk-in closet and large master bath), and then there is a loft with a great closet that would be perfect storage for your husband’s home office supplies (which is what we’ve been using it for) or even more perfect for storing little kids games and toys!

Details:
finished area includes - 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, laundry room, loft, 2 front rooms, family room, dining area, kitchen, and many closets. Unfinished basement. 3 car garage. The yard is almost completely landscaped, including 2 beautiful water features (one in the front, and one in the back).

We’re asking 319,400 (we’re actually loosing money on this, but we’re looking/moving ahead and want a quick sale!)

Beautiful Condo. for Sale!

If you know anyone who wants to purchase a condo. here it is! Definitely the best value in Rock Creek!

This is a top unit, which means it’s larger, and you don’t have to worry about any noisy neighbors upstairs, because there aren’t any! It has vaulted ceiling, and an open/spacious floor plan which features a very large living/dining area, open kitchen with a bar, and large master with a walk-in closet. We put in a bunch of upgrades to make living comfortable and nice. It has wood flooring in the living room and hallway; the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room have tile flooring; and there is carpet in the 3 bedrooms. The cupboards are a pretty knotty alder. All the counter tops are granite, with under-mount sinks. The light fixtures, doorknobs, faucets etc. are oil-rubbed bronze. Community amenities include a nearby park (it’s right next-door, actually), a pool, jacuzzi, and clubhouse.

Details:
3 bedrooms
2 bathrooms
1265 sq. ft.
Priced low, ready to sell - 129,900!

Incredibly Highly Awesome…

So, these are definitely not the gorgeous images I talked about, but the waterfall is incredibly highly awesome! Still not much to look at, but when it runs, the sound is amazing. And because we’ve done this before, it’s easy for me to see the potential, and have a good idea of what it will look like! I’m super excited! I know this is one of those things that we’ll be pleased we were able to do, to create, and make our home beautiful… and will be enjoyed for years to come (by someone)!

Goodbye… HELLO!

We’re VERY EXCITED to be starting a new line of aprons! We’re clearing out of all our old aprons :( to make way for our new ones :)

I love being a “lay at home wife” !

Pretties…

I’m kind of new to blogging, but have been trying to make little posts here and there to show you what Adam and I have been up to (as I love visiting our friends blogs and seeing pictures of recent vacations, Stephanie throwing money in the air, watching a video of Akira running around with a suction cup toy stuck to her back, and just reading what exciting or not so exciting things are going on in your lives!) Anyways… I did have a purpose in that. I was thinking how I want to share what’s going on, but really have no idea who pops in on our blog. I’m sure I could create some wigit “followers” something or other, but like I said - I’m new! So for today, just leave us a note! We love to hear from you!

Here are some pictures of what I’ve been up to! (Hopefully I’ll have some gorgeous images of an incredibly highly awesome waterfall in our backyard soon! - that’s what Adam and I have been up to together… but mostly Adam!)

Another one of our friends

Richelle and I wanted to introduce everyone to another one of our new friends.

This little guy has been flying around our backyard and protecting his territory. There have been a lot of other humming birds back there, but he is the one that is there each day. He fights off all of the other ones and keeps most of the backyard to himself. Richelle is always making me laugh! One of the first things she asked when he showed up was… “What is his name? I think skip or skeeter would be good.” As of right now, we have not come to any conclusions about a name. I am sure Richelle will keep you all up to date. (-:

Currant Creek…

Adam and I met up with my family over the 4th of July weekend for a camping trip they had planned with some friends. We slept in our little snuggle friendly tent, ate together (I found a new favorite chip GARDEN SALSA SUNCHIPS - yummy) , went fishing (or watched the boys fish), took LOTS of pictures, and just had a good time together with our family and friends! Check out the next 5 posts for some of my favorite pics…
